pH Balancing Diet


pH of the body is determined by two things:

  1.  What we eat and drink or what we put in our body.

  2.  What is removed out of the body and what is with held or remains inside the body.

Our bodies are alkaline by design but acid by function. The Metabolic by-products and diet have influence on pH of our body. The digestive syste and metabolic processes are naturally acid producing which needs to be neutralized or balanced.  Body needs both types of food. Too much of either is unhealthy. To maintain health, the diet should consist of at least 75% alkaline forming foods and at most 25% acid forming balanced foods.

Alkaline / Acid forming Foods

Most fruits and vegetables have alkaline forming nature with the exception of pomegranates, strawberries, plums, prunes and cranberries, corn, asparagus etc.

Last but not the least to remember that we do not "catch" a disease or illness rather we earn it with continued wrong living and eating habits.
