Through careful study and plenty of experience, I have learned a couple of things about our counterparts. First of all, no matter what they say or portray, they too want to be loved. They want to know that the woman who claims to love them so much, (when she gets suspicious enough to check his phone for recently received and or dialed calls), will be there for them when it gets rougher then rough.
When money is tight and she cannot go shopping at the mall with her girlfriends over the weekend, will she still put her man first? When he comes home from a hard week of work, can she make him feel like he is the king of their domain?Can she put her own needs aside for a little while and cater to his every wish? Can she for just a moment see him as the center of her soul and not the source of her funds or security blanket she cannot sleep without? Can she support him when he comes up with a new idea and asks her opinion? Can she keep their business between just the two of them and not run to tell her best friend every time something transpires? Can she cease to question him about every little thing? Can she be understanding of his inner most desires and nurture his deep, even at times unknown to even himself, needs? Can she take him out every so often, and open his car door from time to time? Can she show him what she really means every time she whispers “I love you” when they are making love? Can she show him that not every woman is out to take a man for all he's got? Ladies, we spend so much time complaining about how there are no “good men” left in the world. But when we come across one, we cannot even identify him
Our minds are so jaded, and clouded by the imagery of what we think we know. A good woman can make a good man feel like he has wings to soar above and beyond his wildest dreams. She too has the power to take a good man from the very pinnacle of his esteem and make him feel like he's so low, he'll need to look up to see the ground. True love is a beautiful and tender thing. A strong foundation has to be laid in order for love to flourish. If you are not willing to work at it until you see the flowers blossoming, then set him free.
But if you are serious about keeping a good man more than satisfied, but HAPPY, and in turn watch him do the same for you… than take my advice, do not assume that he knows what you feel. Show him. Blow his mind from time to time. Get down on your knees and rub his feet. Bring him a long stemmed rose with a sweet note attached. Research new and innovative ways to say those sacred three words.
Keep your relationship flaming with infectious thoughts of seeing his eyes first thing in the morning. Send him a warm & fuzzy E-card, or a simple 143 through text messaging. Do the unexpected… show him that you still see him as the most enchanting & charismatic man as in the early days. People always ask the question, “How do you rekindle the flame between two people?” The answer, “Don't ever let it go out.”
